The Coats family is a vibrant and dynamic family, who recently relocated (2022) to South Georgia to pursue their dreams of becoming farmers, to build a legacy rooted in nature, and to give back to their community through education, healthy habits, and youth outreach. 

Perry and Brandy Coats are an inspiring couple who were determined to start their very own family farming business, Harvesting Hands Homestead, to live and help others live a sustainable, healthy, happy lifestyle. 

They have 8 kids together, who absolutely love their jobs and work hard on the homestead. They enjoy growing plants, vegetation, and flowers and their love and respect for animals has grown exponentially over the years. They are all active in the community and are essential assets to our family homestead. The Coats also have 5 beloved dogs who are a huge part of their family.

The Coats family's goal is to support their local community and provide a fruitful, healthy, established homestead for generations to come. They are enthusiastic about preserving nature and supporting their local farmers, veterans, and businesses. Their strong belief in Christ has guided them in their decisions for their family and in business.
